Mustang shoe shop-in-shop in Madrid

In 2023 VANDA Designers designed a new Mustang shoe shop-in-shop inside El Corte Inglés in Madrid, a new chapter in the studio’s long collaboration with the brand. The corner presents the brand’s sneakers and boots with a recognisable identity, designed to stand out among the departments.

A WALL THAT BECOMES THE BRAND’S IMAGE

The grey display wall is crossed by large blue curved shapes that rise from the cabinet to the ceiling and bring movement to the whole corner. Above, the backlit Mustang logo stands out from the wall with a halo of cool light, making the brand visible from a distance.

ILLUMINATED SHELVES AND BESPOKE FURNITURE

The cantilevered shelves, with integrated LED profiles, light the products evenly and organise the collection by family: boots at the top, sneakers in the middle, canvas styles close to the counter. The low cabinet with doors holds stock and doubles as a display surface. Illuminated logo cubes complete the layout and set the rhythm of the shelves.

PLINTHS AND WINTER DISPLAY

In front of the wall, a system of stepped grey plinths presents the boot collection. Blue logo cubes and a surface in white and grey ecological fur give the display a wintery, tactile mood.

MADE TO MEASURE

As in every VANDA project, every element was designed and made to measure for this space.
