HEIKOS | BOLZANO, ROME, MILAN
Retail design · Visual merchandising · Fixture design · 120 sqm
Retail design Italy for a Chinese accessories and lifestyle brand making its European debut. VANDA designed the retail concept for Heikos flagship stores in Bolzano, Rome and Milan: 120 square metres built for a young female target, where product and shopping experience are constructed together.
Retail design Italy: the concept
The palette is immediate: salmon, white and black. Warm, feminine, contemporary. Custom white fixtures create a clean display system that puts the product first without weighing down the space. Grid surfaces allow different configurations to adapt to seasonal launches and collection rotations. The dark floor grounds the space and makes the lit elements stand out.
The distinctive element
At the centre of the project is a blind box vending machine, a point of sale that is also a moment of entertainment. The customer doesn’t know what they’ll find: the surprise effect generates anticipation, encourages repeat visits and spontaneously produces social content. Retail design that understands how consumption works for new generations.
Three cities, one system
The concept has been replicated across three stores in three Italian cities, maintaining visual coherence while adapting the layout to each specific floor plan. A flexible system that scales without losing recognisability.
