A Project with a Long History of Research
The client, Gerardo Sacco, an Italian company that still designs and creates jewellery with artisanal quality, contacted us to design a container for their products, to be placed in their stores and able to speak to women.
The idea comes from the travel wardrobe that noblewomen wore during their long journeys: the wardrobe and the trunk were made of refined materials, ostrich-effect eco-leather, leather, glossy oak and brass. From this reference comes a sculptural display case with brass corners and the Gerardo Sacco logo in relief, opening to reveal internal drawers in light wood designed to hold jewellery, bringing back to life the same craftsmanship of period travel trunks.
