A British Look

In London, in the heart of the City, on the seventeenth floor of the City Tower, we designed the English office of the Italian forensic firm Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati. A fibre-cement wall and minimal, white and linear furnishings gave the offices a modern, elegant and very pleasant look, enhanced by the view over the city skyline that opens up from every room, from the reception to the meeting room.

An office that speaks of credibility

Designing the London office of an international law firm means giving confidence and credibility to everyone who walks in, whether a visiting client or a member of the firm itself. On the seventeenth floor of the City Tower, in the financial heart of London, this goal translates into an essential language: white walls, clean lines and minimal furnishings that never distract from the daily work of the legal practice. The fibre-cement wall introduces a material with a recognisable texture, able to give the space character without weighing it down, in keeping with the international identity of Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati.

The view as part of the design

The view over the London skyline, visible from every room, from the reception to the meeting room, becomes an integral part of the project rather than a simple bonus of the building itself. The glass walls were left free of bulky elements, so that the city itself becomes the natural backdrop to every work meeting. This choice also allows natural light to reach the innermost spaces, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day and keeping the bright, airy atmosphere that defines the whole office.

A project signed by three hands

The project was signed by Valentina Elmiger and Aurora de La Fuente together with Marcel Mauer, a team effort reflected in the balance between compositional rigour and attention to detail that runs through the whole office. From the reception to the meeting room, every space follows the same design logic, ensuring visual continuity across the entire floor and reinforcing the perception of a solid, international firm that cares about the quality of the spaces where it works every day.
