LAVANDERÍA | BURGOS
Interior Design · Branding · Signage · 45 sqm
This laundry interior design project in Burgos proves that even the most everyday spaces can have a strong identity. For Lavandería, a self-service laundry, VANDA worked on interior design, branding and signage as a single coherent system: every element tells the same story.
Laundry Interior Design in Burgos: A Colour That Speaks First
The yellow — bright, bold, almost pop — is not simply a facade colour. It is the first message to the passerby: something ordinary is done in an extraordinary way here. The globe lights punctuating the ceiling turn an everyday service into an almost domestic experience, warm and welcoming. Every design choice was made to make the space immediately recognisable from the street.
Materials That Speak Quality
Oak wood and cement terrazzo flooring evoke a crafted aesthetic, far from the coldness typical of the sector. The brass counter completes the picture: quality in the details, even where you least expect it. The material palette was selected to create warmth and durability in equal measure — a space that looks good on day one and continues to age beautifully.
Branding and Signage as Part of the Design
Aquí hay ropa tendida — handwritten on the external sign and the interior wall. Ironic, direct, memorable. It says everything without really saying anything. The tagline is not an afterthought: it is part of the visual architecture of the space, as considered as the choice of every material and fixture.
VANDA handled the entire visual system for this laundry interior design project in Burgos: from graphic naming to operational signage, from colour identity to material selection. A 45 sqm space that knows exactly who it is — because even a laundry can have character.
